LOS NOGALES SCHOOL´S CHAPEL- BOGOTA, COLOMBIA
Los Nogales School's Chapel, is conceived based on a pure and elemental prism, which represents the divinity and pureness in God's presence, the essential and harmony. The various volumes and cracks that this prism suffers represent the alteration in human lives, therefore harmony's alterations.
The prism order is juxtaposed with these alterations that generate light cracks on the elevations, allusion to hope and opportunity in a life of darkness. The dimness take place, as a place for quietness and prayer; the search for the interior self.
This chapel has the ability to open itself to gather a major number of assistants, by opening two huge doors facing a wide public space. This changes the chapel dramatically, from one that can gather 100 assistants to another capable for almost 2000, changing the interior symbolic elements: the pulpit converts itself to both, the chorus and the main atrium. The site's composition is the result of a detailed study, composed by the chapel's prism and the loose belfry element, which works as a symbolic landmark. The ochre concrete and the natural wood reflect brightness and nobility, mixed with texture and grain, surround by the tranquility of the subtle water pond.

HANNOVER EXPO PAVILION- HANNOVER, GERMANY
The pavilion's architecture represents the Colombian jungles, with the use of a geometrically arranged group of trees with a technological language, interpreting figuratively and in a contemporary way the country's natural resources. Under this structure appears an open area that evokes the loquacious living in the streets and squares of our country, full of activity, where trade takes place and where people are able to contemplate and listen; enriched with different light intensities, a variety of sounds, lots of aromas and textures. This preamble that plays a strong role in the EXPO's street activity, is an invitation to enter a calm interior that has plain images and seeks to seed questions in the foreigner who crosses quickly throw this little piece of Colombia. Additionally and as companion, a quiet volume which reuses simple orthogonal containers, shines giving place to the private and administrative activities.Technically the whole has been harmonized with the inclusion of passive systems that optimize the energetic and light consumption, the heat, the ventilation and by the implementation of recycling systems, the exploitation of the basic resources.This pavilion which is one of the most economic within the EXPO, establishes its supportability in the fact that is a totally prefabricated building that is able to be risen in six weeks and can be rebuild in its totality in any other geographical place of Germany. This means that there is a 100% exploitation of resources, only possible thanks to a very strict modularity and to the simple, few, easy to transport and to mount pieces that compose the building. The materials used are basically the "teca" wood, cultivated in the Colombian coasts in a vanguard and exemplar project, together with a metallic structure that obeys the requirements and normative of the European community.

INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER- MEDELLIN, COLOMBIA
The interantional Convention Center is an urban complex including a Ballroom, Conference facilities, I-Max Theater, Educational Retail building and Parking lots , everything within public space estructure with plazas, park and landscape atmosphere. The urban quality of complex create a new feature in the city enhancing an eco-sustainable development that articulates the green areas of the city, bleeding business and recreational enviroment.

CURRICULUM VITAE
Architect Daniel Bonilla assisted to Architecture School at the Universidad de los Andes de Bogota (1981 1986) and at Oxford Brookes University got his Master Degree in Urban design (1990). He also studied at Dublin's College of Technology and the Politecnico da Milano. His interests in the urban areas led him to work directly with Bogota's Administration, where he participated on public projects. In 1990, he joined Llewelyn Davies team at London where he developed a variety of urban projects. On 1993 he returned to Colombia where he joined as Design Director of Ospinas y Cia., one of the most important offices in the real estate business in Colombia. In 1997 he established his own office and had developed almost a hundred of different projects on Urban, Architecture and Industrial design.
His experience has also been as a professor in the Univesidad de los Andes, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana y Universidad Catòlica de Colombia, all of them in Bogota; in Universidad de las Américas (Puebla México) and U.N.A.M. (México) as an international lectures as well as in almost every university in Colombia. Likewise, he participated with lectures in the XVII Encuentro Latinoamericano de Estudiantes de Arquitectura and the First Urban Furnishing International Forum in México.
Daniel Bonilla has obtained multiple professional distinctions which include First Prizes on architectonic Competitions such as Plaza de Nariño (Pasto Nariño), San Marcos Housing Building, Urban Furnishing for Bogota and Colombia's Pavilion for Expo Hannover 2000 (Germany). His projects has been selected at the Colombian Architecture Biennial exhibit on the years 1996, 1998 and 2000. Some other interesting projects are Port Greenwich Urban Project in London, Metropolitan Business Center in Bogota, Los Nogales School Library and Chapel and Christmas Illumination for Bogota.
Daniel Bonilla Architecture and Urbanism started formally in 1997 even though Bonilla had practiced architecture in several enterprises internationally.
Daniel Bonilla, Arquitectura y Urbanismo, is a very well known design studio, where three basic areas worked are: Urban, Architectonic and Industrial Design. This area variety gives us a wide vision on design in every scale, from urban planning and design, up to the development of delicate industrial pieces.
Our rigor, enthusiasm, dedication and passion led to recognition and good will, awards and the status to be on the young Colombian architects elite.
Also, we've developed great teamwork capability not only among us, but also with other firms nationally and overseas. On these situations, the respect and order are our pillars, not leaving behind the capability to be critics to our own work, for achieving the best results.
We strongly believe in the peoples' stimuli and potential, in a way that we try our best to comprehend our clients and profesionals dreams and ideas.
These dreams and our own, and our capability and disposition for work, led us to become active participants on amazing architecture and urban design challenges as Colombia's Pavillion at Expo-Hannover 2000, Bogota's Urban Furnishing, Christmas Illumination 2000, among others.
